That´s it that´s all! Our last (official) meeting took place on Wednesday in our lovely Ala bar. A crowded cave made this event again very special. A lot of people participated in the whole programme.

It was not only a special evening because it was the last one – it was Sahin´s Birthday and the whole Couple Learning People were celebrating with him.

The international dishes, which all the awesome people prepared/organized/stole made this party to a real good event. But there was a final task to survive before getting the Diploma. They had to show what they learned about Latvia and the language. Poems, songs or just a ode for all the women – they all did a great job! RESPECT!

The summer is close – that was the reason why we decided to go in the park and do some outside activities. Around 50 highly motivated participants gathered in the hall of the main building of the LU. It took just a few minutes until we went outside to enjoy this sunny later-afternoon.

Around 10 minutes by foot we arrived our goal in the park, the top of the mountain, inside Riga. All the couples got their “tasks” to do. Get to know each other, if they are just a couple for a day and draw the other one. They had to find out about their prefers, hates, enjoying and much more details.

Almost asleep in this sunny park, a energetic circle was built to wake them all up – with success! Beside James Bond, Marilyn Monroe and a Toaster (Bernd the Bread) a lot of animals visited our event.

After the final presentation and the introducing of the couple the sun was ready to leave – so we did but not at home – but to Ala pub – keeping traditions alive.

Wednesday evening was the fourth meeting of the Couple Learning Programme. This time again in the rooms of the University of Latvia. A big orienteering photo safari was planned in Riga.

17:30 was the meeting time, around 17:50 arrived the first people and some minutes later some responsible person for the weather decided to start a nice rain shower over the Faculty and Riga. Anyway tasks were given, a orange to change for some more valuable was handed out. Despite of the bad weather all participants were happy and willing to survive their tasks (proof in the picture below)

After one hour, all the groups arrived save at the LU. Meanwhile even more happy, because the weather changed and the sun went out for some last minutes of the day. Four representatives presented their changed preciousness. A pencil, some weird froot / vegetable, a cigarette and a awesome karaoke cd were shown. All in all it was a great adventure and we had a lot of fun!
